Dr. Kim Beaucage
Born and raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, Dr. Kim Beaucage completed her Honours Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Biology undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo. She went on to pursue graduate studies at Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario), where she completed a PhD in Physiology with a Specialization in Musculoskeletal Health Research specifically focused on diseases of bone and metabolism.
Dr. Beaucage was selected for enrollment in the Schulich Dental Clinician-Scientist (DCS) program – a unique program consisting of a PhD in an area of research relevant to dentistry followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Western University. During her DDS, Dr. Beaucage participated in the Dentistry Summer Research Program to remain involved with research focused on arthritis and osteoporosis related diseases.
